COVID-19

On 31 December 2019, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported a cluster of pneumonia cases. ‘Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2’ (SARS-CoV-2) was confirmed as the causative agent now known as ‘Coronavirus Disease 2019’ (COVID-19). Since then, the virus has spread to more than 100 countries, including South Africa.

At MPAMOT, the health and safety of our teams takes precedence and as such we have taken stringent measures to develop, refine and update our Health and Safety policies to include COVID 19 measures for prevention, and control of COVID 19.

All visitors to our offices are requested to contact us prior to arrival and we will share our policy and screening questionnaire with you via email. Should you not be able to review this screening assessment prior to your arrival, you will be asked to complete the induction on COVID 19 upon arrival at our offices.

All employee’s and visitor’s temperature will be recorded and each individual will be asked to complete a screening questionnaire.

MPAMOT Compliance Officers monitor, track and evaluate our company’s compliance to our COVID Policy and workplace plan.  They are responsible for the continuous refinement, and implementation of the COVID-19-ready Workplace Plan in accordance with the regulations issued in terms of section 27(2) of the Disaster Management Act and specifically, Annexure E, to ensure close monitoring of the plan post re-opening; and to ensure adherence to health and safety protocols as issued and those identified in the risk and hazard assessments.

This COVID-19 company policy is susceptible to changes with the introduction of additional governmental guidelines, should circumstances in the workplace change. Therefore, we request that you contact us at reception@mpamot.co.za should you wish to confirm current health and safety protocols.

We pray for the continual good health and safety of all our team members, clients, communities and partners.
